CAMP DIRECTOR:

In the same intense style that has allowed Ron Roach to develop successful athletes athletic programs, his basketball camps rank among the state’s finest as well.  Each and every year as the numbers have significantly increased, so have the various areas of the state from which he annually draws campers.

Personal care and attention are the essentials that allow his camps to be successful.  Coach Roach takes great pride in personally overseeing every aspect of the camp’s objective.

Entering the 37th year as the camp director of the Number-One Girls and Boys Basketball Camps, due to interest and numerous request, Coach Roach has expanded to offer a Volleyball camp.

CAMP STAFF:

Once again Ron Roach has assembled one of the state’s best camp staffs for his 2012 summer camps.  The diversity of backgrounds found among the counselors, instructors, and guest lecturers combine to form multiple years of solid camp teaching experience.

DIRECTIONS TO BRENAU:

FROM ATLANTA:

Take I-85 North to I-985 North.  Take Exit 22, Gainesville—Jefferson, Hwy. 129.  Turn left off of the exit.  Follow highway 129 into Gainesville.  After crossing Jesse Jewel Parkway, take the 3rd right onto Washington St.  At the second stop sign, turn left onto Prior St.  Crudup Hall will be the second building on your right.

ADMISSION:

Individuals who are admitted are instructed to conform to proper behavior and to follow instructions set by the school.  No smoking is allowed.  Those who are unwilling to meet these standards will be dismissed.

APPLICATION:

Fill out the attached registration blank and mail before May 1st.  Enclose a deposit of $100.  Balance is payable upon registration.  Full fee may be enclosed if desired. Deposits are not refundable.  Please make checks payable to: Number-One Volleyball Camp.  Camp applications will be accepted after June 1st if space is available.

DORMITORY SUPERVISION: 

The dormitory will be supervised by qualified members of the staff.

WHAT TO BRING:

Each participant should bring workout shoes and clothes, socks, shorts, shirts, swim suit, and personal toilet articles, and will need to bring your own sheets (single), towels and pillow.  Dorms are air conditioned.

INSURANCE:

All campers will be covered by accident insurance.  Ours is excessive coverage and is used along with campers own policy. 

NOTE: 

Since we have incorporated our parental and doctor’s statement into one brochure, there will be no follow-up acknowledgements.
